Hon'ble Minister Health & Family Welfare Govt. Of India launched the National Network of Reference Laboratory (NNRL) of FSSAI on 23.08.2019 on the occasion of Inauguration of National Food Laboratory at Ghaziabad. The network consists of 13 laboratories all over India. PBTI has been awarded certificate of recognition as NRL for Sweets & Confectionary including Honey. The selection of NRL's was based on a rigorous evaluation process carried out by FSSAI. The network of NRL's shall support the apex Food Regulator of the country for developing standards for routine testing procedures and reliable testing methods, providing technical support in the area of competence, evaluating the other notified laboratories and many other such functions.
